Elie Tahari(r) was introduced to the world of fashion in NYC’s Greenwich Village in the '70s. Inspired by that era’s dazzling discos, Tahari created flirty dance dresses, thus how his label was born. His creations were so well received that he was one of the first fashion designers to open a boutique on Madison Avenue in 1974.
